Macaroni Kid is solely supported by advertising and more often than not, I have small businesses and independent consultants who want to advertise on our site, but don't have room in their budget for it. As a small business owner myself, I know that advertising can be costly and my budget doesn't necessarily allow for advertising outside of self promotion. But I have come up with something that I think can potentially get your business known, grow your team, gain some sales, is affordable, and works for all!
I will be running a SpotLight on Local Businesses in the form of a lead article. It will run four consecutive weeks and will highlight local, small businesses and independent consultants. Our article will include your logo, links to your website & Facebook pages, a description of your business and your contact information. Typically the cost for this type of advertisement is over $150. For this special feature, I am offering it at $75 to all small businesses and independent consultants. You will also get a free business listing in our biz directory for a full calendar year! Business directories have their own personal url addresses which you can be shared with anyone in the world.
We currently reach approximately 2,600 direct subscribers (moms, dads and young professionals) - some that may be interested in becoming an independent consultant and some who may just want to shop - and that is of course a great benefit to your business. To avoid competition among peers, independent consultants will be included on a first come, first serve basis, and we will only Spotlight ONE independent consultant from each company, (Scentsy, Mary Kay, Thirty One, and so on) for each four week run.
